Welcome GHT students to the best month of your life! With departure around the corner, the entire team here at GHT is thrilled for the adventure to start. Beginning at the airport on Wednesday, you'll travel with new friends and teachers to fabulous London. Right now, Great Britain's capital is pulsing with excitement.
Wimbledon is almost down to the final eight, and if Andy Murray defends his title you can bet the entire country will erupt! That's not all... for the third time in history the
Tour de France will kick-off Stages 1-3 in England, culminating with the ride down the Mall past Buckingham Palace on July 7th! Make sure to try and secure a spot as the
peloton goes by! Even if you aren't a sports fan, you'll be living in the heart of the capital during an incredibly intense and exciting time, one you won't ever forget.
And for anyone who is a last minute packer, refer to the GHT packing list in your orientation package, and definitely make sure you have your up-to-date passport in your carry-on luggage.
Kathy Young will be your principal for the month and is looking forward to connecting with you at the airport. Ms. Young will also be updating the blog regularly and keeping all the friends and family back home up-to-date, so check back often!
